The intervention strand of the Balanced System is about strategies, activities and resources that will help the children you work with to develop speech, language and communication skills.  The resources you can add to your pathway might be general strategies and activities to include in the day to day programme of you setting or school.  They might also include more particular activities advised by a specialist practitioner or activities and programmes where school or setting has had additional training.  You may also find more specific activities that can be helpful to specific children as advised by or delivered by a speech and language therapist.
