Accessibility statement for The Balanced System® Pathway
This accessibility statement applies to the website at https://pathway.thebalancedsystem.org.
This website is run by Better Communication CIC. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard;
- navigate most of the website using a screen reader;
- see a clear visual indicator of where you are when using a keyboard;
- read text without it being cut off when you zoom in or use a larger text size;
- understand links and controls because they are clearly labelled.
We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We believe this website is largely accessible. The one part that is not fully accessible is the built-in Google Translate tool, a third-party Google component that may be difficult to use with a keyboard or screen reader. More details are provided in the “Non-accessible content” section below.

Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliance listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason.
Content that is not within our control
- Google Translate. The website embeds Google’s Translate widget to help users read the site in other languages. This is controlled by Google, and we are not able to change how it works. This falls outside the scope of what we can remediate.
There are no known accessibility issues in the content and functionality that we are responsible for.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We carry out periodic reviews of the website and fix the issues we find. We will keep the site under review and address any further issues that are reported to us or that we identify.
